Daido Moriyama: Memories of a Dog
I've heard about Daido Moriyama some years ago when I first got interested in street photography but have never really seen or study his work until recently. Having seen and studied many famous street photographers past and present, you'll gravitate toward some and feel unattached toward the rest. Daido as he is more commonly called in English belongs to the former. His raw, gritty, blurry and some what dysfunctional photographs resonate to the deeper part of my being. Many people may not find his photographs beautiful and some may even find some of them disturbing but yet many have found them inspirational and insightful at the same time. His photographs are not just contrasty in terms of tonality but more so in their content and the feeling they invoke. Here's an interview with the artist done by Theme Magazine.

Last Saturday I had the privilege to capture the moments for Wee Leng and Yen Ling's wedding ceremony at the beautiful Zion Lutheran Church. Though there were some minor hiccups and delays but the wedding ceremony turned out to be a splendid one. Congratulations to Wee Leng and Yen Ling. Above are some of the moments for the day.
